consider it a blue note

A break from the copy paste theme of the blog...in my own brief understated words. If in Berlin, Treptow cannot be missed. The crematoruim designed by Axel Schultes and Charlotte Frank, is one of few buildings which has touched me in the way that Art can. Meaning that emotion overwhelms the senses, you forget who you are with and you wander through the space, drugged on perception, uninhibited by history or knowledge. Ellens altered image of the space, in which wings are grafted on to the crowd, intuitively hints at it's power

Treptow park was Eastern Berlin's answer to Tiergarten. A huge urban destination park, where you can wander as if in the countryside through picturesque scenes of trees and open space. It contains the soviet war memorial. though technically outside the park, but seamlessly connected are the relics of the spreepark.
